Adam

We thought Adam was going to be adopted by a friend of the fosterers but it hasn't materialised but the good side to this is that he has had a longer stay in foster and it is certainly for the good. The last time I saw Adam he hardly came out from under the table. On this visit he came running up to greet me with tail wagging. As you can see he is a very handsome little chap who is just over 2 years old. Although Adam is fine with other dogs his fosterer thinks he would be fine as an only dog particularly if you have nothing to do all day but give him cuddles 😊 Adam is house trained, good on lead and is now ready to move on to his forever home. Whilst Adam is a friendly fellow he does have moments when he is a little wary so we will not place him with children.

Clyde

Clyde is in foster and looking for his forever home. He is about the size of a Standard Dachshund and a very sweet but a little shy 9 month old. Clyde gets on well with other dogs but would probably be OK as an only dog as long as someone is around a good part of the day. He is very affectionate once he knows you and we feel there is a really cheeky character just waiting to emerge. He is just about housetrained, walks on a lead, although needs more confidence building with this. Clyde is a real sweetie who we feel would make a good family pet with respectful children

Daphne

Gorgeous, sweet natured Daphne loves nothing more than to cuddle up on the sofa, she is still looking for her own sofa to do just that! She is great on and off the lead, very gentle, loves children and is housetrained. She would need someone who has the patience to work with her and help build her confidence as she can be quite nervous of some situations. It would be lovely to see her settled in her own new home. Because she gets nervous resident children need to be 10+

Dixie

Here's our little Dixie chick ❤️ Super little dog who is doing very well in foster. Her passport puts her at 6 yrs old but we think she is younger than this. Dixie is very affectionate and gets on well with other dogs but would probably be ok as an only dog. We don't think she would be suitable for living with cats as she does appear to have a bit of a chase instinct. Dolly

Dolly really needs her forever home. She is a year old, between Jack Russell and Beagle size (about 12kg) and once she knows and trusts you is a very loving, affectionate girl who showers you with kisses. Dolly has to have another friendly dog living in the home. She cannot cope with being left alone without company. I can happily leave her up to 5 hours in the company of my dogs now she has bonded with them. She is housetrained and loves her walks. Dolly is a typical, mischievous terrier type in that she is cheeky, playful and loves to chase rabbits in the fields. Because she has such a strong chase instinct I would never let her off lead near livestock. She is living with cats and although she doesn't want to hurt them, and at times kisses them she does still love to chase, so any resident cats need to be very brave. She needs an understanding home and a slow, gentle approach as it will take her a little time to trust new people. Any resident children need to be 10+

Erin

Erin is nearly 10 months old, speyed, about the size of a King Charles Spaniel and loves everyone. She is housetrained, walks on a lead and has fairly good recall. Erin is a normal, playful, lively puppy who will make a great family pet. She gets on well with other dogs but would be fine as an only one as long as someone is around the majority of the day.

Gianna

Some dogs amaze us and Gianna is one of them. She managed to survive nearly 3 years in a Romanian shelter, not a mean feat for an older girl, has been here a week and has just slotted into home life as if she has always been there. Gianna's passport puts her age as 10 but we think she may be a bit younger. She is housetrained, likes her walks, gets on with other dogs and takes no notice of the resident cats. She is about the size of a Border Collie and is friendly, but a little cautious at first. Gianna hasnt really met any children yet, and although we feel she would be fine, she is an older girl who likes her peace so we would only home her where any resident children are 12+ So far Gianna's only faults are that she is strong on the lead and does get a little car sick, although we think this is only nerves and will improve. Joby

Joby really, really needs a new home or foster. He is just over a year old and is finding strangers and young children a bit frightening and has started to snap at them. He didn't previously display this behaviour and we think he has simply lost confidence being an only dog. He would probably do best in a home with another confident, friendly dog as he really does love to play and enjoys the company. He is a very well behaved, affectionate little boy once he knows you. He is housetrained, loves his walks and is OK to be left for short periods of time.

Joss

There are only positive things that can be said about this girl ❤️ Not only is she very beautiful but she is friendly, gentle and calm. She is a medium sized lurcher with the sweetest nature. Joss is another Breasta survivor who was quite shy on arrival but is now really coming out of her shell. She is now house trained, starting to really enjoy her walks...only on lead at the moment and generally making the most of her home comforts. Joss would make a wonderful addition to any family. We would like to see her with another dog because she loves to play but it would also be a confidence booster. Joss would be fine with children 8+....possibly slightly younger. Joseph

This is Joseph. He is 9 years young, housetrained, loves people, especially children, gets on great with other dogs and takes no notice of the resident cats or rabbits. A darling dog. Lory

Little Lory arrived a shy little boy, but we felt sure that he really wanted to be friends and would soon come round when in a home environment, and we were right. It wasn't long before he was on the sofa watching television and being thoroughly pampered. He has done so well that it is now time for him to make his final transition. His forever home. Lory is a year old small medium size neutered male. He is housetrained, a little shy, but gentle and loving. He now really enjoys his walks. Lory needs to be homed with another friendly dog to help him gain confidence. Any children need to be 12+ as he hasn't really met any.

Maverick

Maverick really needs his own family now. He's been in foster several weeks and is doing great. He's approx 8 months old, collie cross. Super temperament albeit a little shy on first meetings. He will need a doggy playmate but he can be left for a few hours, is off lead on walks and is almost housetrained. We won't home him with young children as sudden movements frighten him (no aggression, just takes himself off somewhere quiet) and he's not cat tested. Can you offer Mav his forever home?

Millie

Millie likes tables and toys!! Gorgeous little 3 year old who is now finding her feet and coming on very well in foster. She is house trained, good on lead and good with other dogs. Little Pella arrived Saturday and is looking for her forever home. She is just four months old and a really friendly, sociable, outgoing puppy who will make a great family dog. Phoebe

Phoebe arrived just over a week ago and is proving to be a real sweetheart. Housetrained, good with other dogs, great on the lead, off lead needs work but above all she is extremely affectionate. She could be homed as an only dog as she adores humans and will bond very closely, very quickly although she is unsure of young children. She is about the size of a springer spaniel but a slimmer build, she's 8 years old but plays like a puppy sneaking whatever she can to her bed for safe keeping. Ramona

Sweet Ramona isn't coping very well with city living so is looking for a new, countryside home. Ramona is about 4 and is a very loving little girl who will do best homed with another similar size dog as she loves to play with other dogs and finds it difficult to cope being left home alone if by herself. Ramona is possibly a Lancashire Heeler, or a Heeler mix. She abolutely loves her walks and is still an energetic little girl so does need quite a fair bit of exercise. Up until the time she came to the U.K. she had never been on a lead so does get a bit anxious with some forms of transport, such as motorbikes and will bark at them. She is an intelligent girl and a quick learner, so we feel with some work this will be overcome. She has a strong chase instinct and cannot be homed with cats, small furries or poultry.

Sophie

Little Sophie is about 8 months old and a Podenco x. She is now in foster in Teignmouth and looking for her forever home. Sophie is a friendly girl who can be nervous of some things still as she spent most of her early life in a shelter. She is housetrained and absolutely loves her walks. She needs a fair bit of exercise. Sophie needs a home with another resident dog to give her confidence and to play with She loves children but because she scares easily they need to be gentle and dog savvy. She really is a little sweetheart, gentle and playful.

Tiffy

Special home wanted for a special girl. Tiffy is big, black and beautiful and is now 8 years old. She has been with us for a while now in foster but has only just reached the stage where we feel we can put her up for adoption. Tiffy spent a long time in Public Shelter Botosani and it was heart wrenching to see the videos of her that came from the shelter. She was a shut down dog who just paced from one side of her kennel to the other all day long. When she came to foster we had to carry the crate into the house as she was too scared to come out. Tiffy has progressed amazingly well BUT she will not tolerate a collar on and has never been for a walk. However, this once very shy girl will now come to greet you when you visit and she is very happy with her life even if it is somewhat restricted compared to some. She is living with other dogs quite contentedly and takes no notice of cats or chickens. Tiffy would make a great companion dog for someone who has a good, secure garden area that she can pootle around in but with no expectations of taking her for a walk. Another dog to give her confidence and company would be a bonus. Please contact us if you could offer the love and security that this girl needs.

Tilly

Tilly, is a loveable playful dog. She is fine left for short periods and bar the odd accident she is house trained. She is quite full on and loves walks and will play all day. She loves dog toys and slippers. She gets really dopey about half 8 onwards and loves cuddles then. She gets in her bed at night and we don't hear a peep out of her all night. She is brilliant with other dogs and well behaved when out. She is possessive of her food with other dogs but not human. I feed her seperately as she will bark at my dog if he comes near her when there is food around. However this is improving and she was like this with water too at first but we have got her over that. She loves the dog chew bones you can get and she will take it to her bed and stay there until it has finished. She is a big foody. She loves sitting on the windowsill watching the world go by. She's getting better but can be a bit wary of strange men and heavy traffic. Because Tilly can snatch food and is so lively we can only home her where there are children age 10 and over

Trevor

Trevor is now about 5 years old, 3 of those were spent in the shelter!! The world outside the shelter can be a scary place when you have spent that long shut away from it. Trevor has been in foster now for about 2 months and he has come a long way in a comparatively short time but it is felt that the time is right for him to look for his forever home, one in which he can continue to make progress with no more interruptions. Trevor could be homed as an only dog or with a smallish bitch, he is not so keen on other male dogs in the home. He is living with 3 cats quite contentedly. Trevor can be shy of new people entering his world but the last time I visited him he greeted me like a long lost friend...a huge improvement. Trevor is house trained, enjoys going out for a walk but can be easily spooked by sudden noises. Trevor would like a calm home with a gentle approach. We will not home Trevor with children. This adorable boy has loads of love to give...would you like to be on the receiving end?

Tyson

Tyson is a 6 month old Lurcher. He is intelligent, friendly, playful and energetic like most pups his age. He is vaccinated and up to date on his worm/flea treatments.
